Position: Assistant Relationship Manager

Role Overview
We are recruiting an Assistant Relationship Manager to support our senior relationship director in managing client relationships across asset management, private banking coordination, executive support and business development. This is a hybrid role that blends operational precision with commercial exposure, ideal for candidates seeking hands-on experience with high-net-worth (HNW) and cross-border financial services.You will play a key part in both day-to-day client execution and long-term growth initiatives, gaining valuable insight into the intersection of lending, wealth management, and strategic partnership development.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage ongoing clients cases and liaise with custody banks across the UK, Europe and producing monthly performance reports
- Assist in client onboarding and documentation, including compliance and KYC support
- Maintain and update internal systems, client records, and portal access for private banks and brokerages
- Contribute to relationship management by responding to client enquiries and coordinating follow-ups
- Support the Director in developing and maintaining referral networks and business development
What We’re Looking For
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline
- Previous experience or strong interest in financial advisory, mortgage brokerage, private banking, or asset management
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks
- Professional written and verbal communication skills; client-facing experience is a plus
- Confidence using Microsoft Excel and CRM platforms; familiarity with banking or brokerage systems is advantageous
- A resourceful and self-motivated approach, with a proactive attitude toward learning and improvement
- Fluency in English is essential; Mandarin or Cantonese is highly desirable given the client base
- Cultural fluency and awareness in working with international HNW clients
